The boy was born from the second pregnancy at 39 weeks, a cesarean. Birthweight 3750 g, height 54 cm In the first days after birth – Apnea.

Dmitry got treatment in the Department of Pathology of the newborn. Diagnosis: cerebral palsy, tetraparesis (cerebral palsy, tetraparesis), was installed in August 2005. The boy has got delayed motor development.

Medical report

Traumatologist: birth trauma of cervical spine, cervical spine instability.

Ophthalmologist: Concomitant strabismus, partial atrophy of the ocular fundus. Optic Nerve, myopia of 1 degree.

EEG (elektroetsefalogramma) - a normal variant, epileptic activity is not detected. Visually evoked potentials - a moderate decrease function of peripheral sections visual pathways on both sides, moderate delay of the visual stimulus pathways for both hemispheres of the brain.

Growth in head circumference corresponds to the age. Exotropia. Speech development corresponds to the age. Muscle tone in the limbs (mainly legs) - spasticity increased to three points, limb muscle strength is reduced to 3 - 3.5 points. Tendinous hyperreflexia. Dmitry cannot stand himself, cannot go. Steps movement with the support of hands with trunk bent forward with flexion hip joints, and internal rotation bringing the hips, drawing on the front surface feet are possible. There isn’t rolling stop. Intelligence corresponds to the age.

Cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia moderate severity motor impairment scale GMFS - 3-4 level.
